For the band Puscifer, I created a full design presentation leveraging the Not Merch program. The proposal highlighted opportunities for elevated details including custom trims, labeling, and branded hardware. I also sourced and costed each concept ahead of time, giving the client the clarity to make quick, informed decisions. Once the direction was approved, I oversaw end-to-end production—placing factory orders, ensuring financial transactions, managing prototypes and approvals, tracking exit factory dates, and aligning timelines with the original T&A. I maintained close communication with the client throughout, providing updates on progress and delivery.
This project broadened my expertise beyond apparel into custom hard goods and homeware, deepening my knowledge of development and production management across multiple categories.
Key Contributions:
Design led the Not Merch white-label program, curating pre-sourced items for quick, cost-effective client proposals.
Designed and pitched elevated concepts for Puscifer, including trims, hardware, and labeling.
Sourced and costed designs in advance, enabling faster client decisions.
Managed full production cycle: factory orders, financials, prototypes, approvals, and T&A alignment.
Expanded development skills into hard goods and home items beyond apparel.

Wearing Many Hats at Modern Brands
Because Modern Brands was still fairly new, my role allowed me to wear many hats—balancing the big-picture strategy of directing client projects with the hands-on execution of design details.
This meant I not only guided overall brand direction and client relationships, but also worked at a granular level to ensure precision in the final product.
Examples of Responsibilities:
Designed specifications for custom metal snap buttons.
Created dye lines for packaging.
Oversaw both macro (program direction) and micro (design execution) perspectives to deliver quality results.
This dual perspective shaped my ability to oversee entire programs while still being deeply invested in the craftsmanship and detail that made each project stand out.
